This document explains what information we collect when you visit modiom.com, what we do with it and what we do not do with it. We wrote it to be read: no obscure wording, and a description of what the site actually does.

2The data we collect
We only collect what you send us willingly, plus the technical information every web server records in order to work.
Quote request — the form on the home page collects your name, email address, country, phone or WhatsApp number, the nature of your request (individual or company), the service concerned and your message.
Contact form — the Contact page collects your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message.
Technical data — like any server, our host records your IP address, the date and time of your visits, the pages viewed, your browser and operating system. These records serve security and fault diagnosis.
Cookies — two technical cookies are set, described in detail below.
3What we do not do
This list matters as much as the previous one. On modiom.com:
- there are no user accounts: nothing to create, no password to entrust to us;
- we collect no payment data — the site sells nothing online;
- we carry out no advertising profiling and set no advertising cookies;
- we neither sell nor rent your data to anyone;
- typefaces are hosted on our own server: your browser calls no external font service;
- no automated decision is made from your data.
Newsletter sign-up is not open yet — the footer announces it as “available soon”. No address is therefore collected on that basis. When the service does open, you will be asked for explicit consent.

5How long we keep them
| Data |

At the end of these periods the data is deleted. You may request erasure before that term, under the conditions described below.
6Who can access them
Your data is handled by the people at Modiom Tech in charge of answering your request. It is also hosted and transmitted by the following providers, acting on our behalf:
| Provider |
Role |
What it sees |
| LWS (Ligne Web Services, France) |
Hosting of the site and mailboxes |
All stored data and technical logs |
| Google (reCAPTCHA) |
Protecting forms against automated submissions |
Your IP address and browsing behaviour on the form page |
| Google (Maps) |
Map shown on the Contact page |
Your IP address when the map is displayed |
These services are provided by Google LLC, a company incorporated in the United States, and are subject to its own privacy policy. Viewing the map on the Contact page or submitting a form therefore involves sharing your IP address with Google.
Apart from these providers, your data is disclosed to no one, save upon request from a duly empowered judicial or administrative authority.
7The cookies we set
A cookie is a small file the site stores in your browser. The ones we set are strictly necessary for the site to work: they serve neither tracking nor advertising.
| Cookie |
Role |
Lifetime |
| modiom-tech-session |
Keeps your session alive while you fill in a form |
2 hours |
| XSRF-TOKEN |
Protects forms against fraudulent submission from another site |
2 hours |
Both cookies travel only over an encrypted connection and cannot be read from another site.
Google's reCAPTCHA service also sets its own cookies when it analyses a form submission. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies at any time; the site's forms will then stop working.
8How we protect them
No website is perfectly secure, but here are the measures actually in place on modiom.com:
- the whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), enforced in the browser for one year;
- a content security policy restricts what the page may load, limiting the injection of foreign code;
- the site refuses to be displayed in a frame on another domain, guarding against click hijacking;
- access to device sensors — location, microphone, camera — is disabled;
- forms are protected by reCAPTCHA and limited to five submissions per minute;
- email exchanges travel over an encrypted connection.
In the event of a data breach likely to create a risk to your rights, we would notify the competent authority and the people concerned, within the time limits set by the applicable regulation.
9Your rights
You have the following rights over the data concerning you, at any time:
- Access — find out what data we hold and obtain a copy;
- Rectification — have inaccurate information corrected;
- Erasure — ask for your data to be deleted;
- Objection — refuse processing based on our legitimate interest;
- Restriction — ask for processing to be frozen pending a check;
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@modiom.com. We reply within thirty days at most. We may need to verify your identity before acting, so as not to disclose your data to a third party.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel (CNDP), the competent authority in Morocco, where our company is established. You may also refer the matter to the data protection authority of your country of residence.
10Transfers outside your country
Our servers and mailboxes are entrusted to the host LWS (Ligne Web Services), whose data centres are located in France. Your data is therefore hosted within the European Union, while our company is established in Morocco.
The Google services mentioned above may also process your IP address outside your country of residence, notably in the United States.
If you live in the European Union, these transfers rely on the contractual safeguards published by Google.
11Minors
The site is aimed at professionals and adults. We do not knowingly collect data relating to minors. If you notice that a minor has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this document
This policy may change along with the site. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. Should a substantial change occur, we will say so clearly on the home page.
